I have an inkling that the problem may lie in the fact that I do not have Komplete Kontrol MK1 as an option under the control surface tab. NOTE: I am able to run Komplete Kontrol as a plugin in Ableton and use the keys on the controller to play instruments, however when I press the transport keys, they trigger notes in the armed track as opposed to Ableton’s transport functions.Īlso: I have selected Komplete Kontrol sMK2 under control surface in my Ableton link MIDI preferences tab, and tried all the possible input output arrangements and options, and tried turning on/off all the MIDI port track/sync/remote buttons to no avail. Within Native Instruments folder, there is no Host Integration folder to be found and cannot complete the rest of the steps given in the article. PROBLEM: When I attempt to navigate to the indicated folder, I only get as far as HD > Library > Application Support > Native Instruments I have attempted to follow the steps in this article: I am aware of user scripts and how they enable host integration with DAWs using hardware. MAIN PROBLEM: I am not having any success using the Komplete Kontrol s25 transport controls on my keyboard to control Ableton’s play/record/stop/loop/rwd/ffw/channel select and other parameters that I need for streamlined workflow. I have run the Komplete Kontrol software as standalone and installed NI applications on my native drive, and have my library running off of a WD 4TB external hard drive. Installed all KK software and libraries.Download, installed and run Native Access.I have restored my computer to factory settings and installed Komplete Kontrol using the directions indicated by NI ( ) Setting up Komplete Kontrol s25 (MK1) Controller with Licensed Ableton Live 10 Suite (ver 10.1.14), and Native Instruments Komplete Kontrol Software (ver 2.3.0) on a mid 2015 MacBook Pro 15” Retina display running macOS High Sierra (ver 10.13.6)
